From the Top: Live from Carnegie Hall is a 26-episode PBS series celebrating the top-notch skills, offbeat humor, and compelling stories of America’s best young classical musicians.
Taped before a live audience, renowned pianist Christopher O’Riley accompanies these 8-18 year olds in stirring performances and engaging interviews. Featured guests have included: violinist Joshua Bell, banjo player Béla Fleck, and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. In 2010, From the Top won an Emmy for the best children’s program in America.
