In the world of ballet, names
don’t get much bigger than dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov
and choreographer Twyla Tharp.  
In 1984, Don produced and directed this 60-minute special to premiere the “Dance in America” series for PBS.
Baryshnikov by Tharp was honored with Europe's prestigious Golden Rose of Montreux Award as well as Emmys for both Don and Twyla.
