Celebrating Hong Kong's reunification with China on July 1, 1997, DMP produced an historic event in picturesque Victoria Harbour.

Staged against the backdrop of the city's skyline, the festival included a parade of over 40 colorful, illuminated barges and Hong Kong's biggest-ever fireworks display.

The massive celebration honored Hong Kong's past, present, and future. The celebration featured an original score composed by Tan Dun and performed by Yo Yo Ma and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
