NetAid
NetAid, a joint effort
between the United Nations and Cisco Systems, whose objective was to raise awareness and encourage people to take action to fight the causes of extreme
poverty on the planet. 
Broadcast worldwide on MTV and VH1, and streamed simultaneously
via 2.4 million live Internet streams, making it the largest webcast to date, this concert event joined artists from stages in three countries:  Giants Stadium in New York, Wembley Stadium in London, and the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. 
Performers included Bono,
David Bowie, Sheryl Crow,
the Eurythmics, Jewel,
Wyclef Jean, George Michael, Puff Daddy, and Sting.
