Wrapping up 16 days of athletic competition, the Closing Ceremony celebrated the achievements of the athletes.

The entertainment featured a wide range of American music styles. Performances ranged from N'Sync, Gloria Estefan, and Harry Connick, Jr., to Josh Groban, Charlotte Church, Donny & Marie and Kiss.

Past Olympic gold medal figure skaters Dorothy Hamill, Kristi Yamaguchi, Katarina Witt and Ilia Kulick were featured performers.

The "Children of Light," who were ever-present throughout the 16 days of competition, gathered together once more to bid farewell to the athletes.
